Also using a potion means I can't attack with my unit correct? So why use a potion then?Īlso since I auto combat most times, maybe I shouldn't be playing an Alchemist then? Thing is, why should I? What do you do when you play? I am always using the traits that the units have so I don't use my potions. The vamp acolyte is now pretty high level and doesn't die anymore, and having regeneration on every army makes the experience much easier.Originally posted by Davor:I am doing that right now sandman. My weak ass vampire was the Master Baiter, he would die all the time, until I got some heaing unlocks, then it got much easier. This can easily hold you until you get the T3 Undead. Vampires respawn after the battle ends with 30 HP. Send the Vampires to the front to bait enemies, they will eventually die, raise their corpses and repeat until enemy is dead. Get some levels on your Undead Mage and hope to get Summon Undead spell and Undead Healer passive. Start by crafting 2 Undead Mage (T1 - Arcane) and 2 Vampires Acolyte (T2 - Elemental, Arcane). Originally posted by Grandork:So, besides cheesing and getting high grade Soul by going to high level areas (any of the 4 corners of the map) and collecting them from piles, this is how I was able to finally beat Impossible as Necromancer (I DID cheese to get T3 units ASAP, but this is how I survived until I had the mats). What exactly can I do to improve the relationship with the other mages? How do I get the last ingredient slot to build units more easily? I don't want to change the difficulty (middle one) cause the fights are ok) I just don't have the ingredients to build such strong units. I restarted the game and the same thing happened again. Within a very short time 2 of them attacked my allfire knots and later my tower. So I ran around to find better ingredients. The units there were much stronger than mine. Next to my tower was a main quest (Secrets of the Shapers). However, I have the problem that I don't get far as a necromancer. But with time you discover the developers' attention to detail and the crafting system with the different units is a lot of fun. I still think that the developers have squeezed too many ideas into the game and that's why it's confusing and not quite coherent in its mechanics. After several hours of play, I've changed my mind a bit.
